American Soldier

Trying to be the best I can be,
A lover to everything & everyone,
Up and at em' bright and early,
I'm dressed up for success,
From my head down to my boots,
I don't do it for the money,
I don't do for the glory,
I just do it anyway,

Being everything I can be,
I can't call in sick on Monday,
When I've party way to hard,
I work straight through the holidays,

I know this sounds like Toby Keiths song "American Soldier" But I didn't write this my friend that is in the Marines wrote it! he asked me to put it up here becasue he is proud of what he does. just remember that the men and women lay their lives down for you!!
