Wait and Find Out

In the corner of my eye,
I can see you right there.
Sitting beside me,
but looking away.

Sometimes I'd sit and watch,
reading the words in my mind.
Then blink and smile;
you looked my way!

Then I'd watch you in the hall,
having fun with someone else.
Oh, how that part hurts!
I can wait though.

I've spent my entire life waiting,
hoping someone to keep will come.
Seems like I may have found one,
but just wait and find out I guess...
