Passing Time

Wish I hadn't fallen for you
'Cause I'm not ready for it all
Neither are you and we know it
So we're up against the wall

We act like neither one cares
But deep down we both do
Still time has to pass a while
Till there's a me and you

If from the start I'd told my heart
To just listen to my mind
I wouldn't know how I feel
And I'm sure I would be fine

But my heart became the boss
And it's not liking demotion
Now it's in it's rightful place
But I still have the emotion

So I guess my biggest regret
Is falling for you too fast
I've liked you so long now
And still so much time must pass

    In my opinion, it didn't stick out from any other love poem, but to be honest, love poems are always hard to write, well, I think anyway. Sorry that I couldn't be more positive.

    i especially loved the lines
