Beginning to Burn

by xUnbreakablex   Oct 23, 2006

You love to watch me fall apart
You're right on cue to break my heart
You never stop, you're never through
Just listen dear. I'm onto you.

You're always lying through your teeth
And here I am, buried underneath
Your unfulfilled promises, your tired lines
But I'm breaking through, I'll do just fine.

You made me fall for empty words
Uncomplication is preferred
As soon as emotions begin to take hold
You're gone, leaving me lonely and cold.

The lies and the torment, the lessons to learn
They're digging in deeper, beginning to burn

It's nowhere near finished, but I'd like to know what you all think.
