Cuts (repost)

She screams silently
Hurting herself violently
Hoping someone would see her
And know whats on her mind for sure
Of how she's depressed and so sad
How she fakes happy so u think shes glad
How he made her do this, he tore her apart
By not giving her a piece of his heart
Her new favorite color is red
It makes her realize what was never said
She sees this color every night
While she cries in shock and fright
She doesnt want to do this
She whispers as the razor and skin slowly kiss
She keeps this secret locked inside
Hides it along with joy and pride
This is just easier than facing life
Cutting herself with a metal knife
She tries to stop, but knows she cant
cutting hearts, stars, and slants
She tells herself it will just tickle
As the blood begins to trickle
She watches in sadness at what shes done
Now the pain has just begun
She hides away the pain and hurt
Only wearing long sweaters and shirts
She closes her eyes and begins to cry
Watching blood flow as she slowly dies

Xcellent poem, and very deep and totally emotional. I love these kind of poems, because they take you right there in the poet mind...XP
