Eyes of tomorrow

by Chelsea   Oct 24, 2006

With eyes like green emeralds
A voice that floats through the wind
Softly, landing on my ear
Whispering words of tomorrow

Beautful eyes that sing
The song of a dozen birds
Gently, sailing along the depths
Of which understanding truly lies

Dark eyes that grip with the force of one thousand
Breaking everything in its destructive path
Forceful, fighting to let go
as it hurts, dies, flies

Falling eyes, failing eyes
Dying from deceit, they gave in
Shriveling, empty, and cold
The eyes of a tomorrow lost
