A thin spider thread ties my lips, the candle flame lites her hips, i hear the goddess whisper in my ear, the path of my journey is ever so clear, Dark circles call to me, they tell me they\'ll let me free, the blade of my athame knows how to bite, but the dark shadows trap me in the night, I cant find the goddess in my heart, I\'m trapped in a portrait of Picasso\'s art, I\'ve been trying to escape since the day i was born, Burn the books of the pas, I\'ll drink blood to make this last, a web of my own lies has caught me, and now I\'m cutting it down so i can be free, With the energy of my athame, i can see the light of day, and push these dark shadows away, i know the god and goddess are here to stay.

Nice poem. Like the concept. The first stanza was my favourite. Good work!
