Mannequin Me

by Russ   Oct 24, 2006

A lifeless face
Staring into space
A heartless chest
Tampered and messed
A plastic skin
Hiding what’s within
A chilling aura
Concealing the trauma
A troubled soul
With no life goal
A figure ignored
All battered and gnawed
A display case
For a living disgrace
A still, fixed pose
The depression still grows

My hurting thought
My life distraught
My pulsating pain
My negative gain
My tempting stress
My life a mess
My impending demise
My face full of lies
My hoping psyche
My dream unlike
My miserable mistake
My received love, fake
My destructive constrict
My rival conflict
My futility fee
My Mannequin Me
