What Is In A Name?

by Bill Turner   Oct 24, 2006

Blasting through life
Ill advised choices the norm
Looking back at where I have been
Lost forever in my own mistakes

Turning the corner in my forties
Unusually happy with where I am going
Risking my heart with the woman I love
Never doubting where we are headed
Ever moving forward, in love
Realizing that sometimes the bad guy wins (or was I never bad to begin with?)

Acrostic=A verse in which certain letters such as the first in each line form a word or a message

    Oh Bill, this absolutely rocks!

"Unusually happy with where I am going"
^^^ this line says so much to me, beautifully worded.
Awesome acrostic and yes, sometimes the bad guy does win. but you're sweet, not bad at all. At least that's how I see it. :)
