Cease To Be

I've layed on shards of glass.
I've danced upon blood stained ground.
I've kissed the razorblade's edge.
And I've screamed without a sound.

I've ripped out my heart.
Stole the stars from my eyes.
Tore out my soul,
And burned all the lies

I've painted a picture,
Lost inside .
This twisted way I'm living,
Will never subside.

Breathing in poison.
I've swollowed the pain.
I've taken everything,
There was to blame.

I've shattered my reality.
Killed my smile.
Died in the moment.
And kissed denial.

I've seen heaven fade,
And the child burn.
Been taught to shame,
Forced to learn.

Unable to be seen,
I'm lost in my eyes.
The blood in my veins,
Poisons the skies.

I've taken my dreams,
Placed them in the sea.
One day I'll awaken,
And you'll cease to be.
