Why do innocent people die?
Why do wars continually rage?
Why are there children hungry
When food is still tossed away?

Why is bad the biggest seller?
Why do people commit crimes?
Why do we watch what we condemn
On the TV all of the time?

Why are there foul words used?
Why do we say hurtful things?
Why do we laugh at others expense
When only pain it brings?

Why is there so much divorce?
Why do people thrive on their hate?
Why do people commit adultery
But still want pure love from their mate?

I know why these things happen
Why the world is a horrible lie.
And I could share how to fix it
But you would just ask me "Why?"
