Prisoner

by Jenni Marie   Oct 25, 2006

I'm a prisoner in my own body
I'm a prisoner in my own head
I'm a prisoner in my own skin
Wishing that I was dead.

I'm a prisoner in this world
I'm a prisoner just trying to be me
I'm a prisoner everywhere I go
Just wanting to be free.

I'm a prisoner outside
I'm a prisoner at home
I'm a prisoner with friends
I'm a prisoner alone.

I'm a prisoner whatever I do
There's really no escape
this prisoner has had her fill
and doesn't know how much more she can take.
