Sober again

by Courtney   Oct 25, 2006

You'll see someday,
We'll look up at the stars together.
And become close again.
I'll want to reach up and touch the untouchable ones,
But you'll pull me back to reality.
And then I will have to remind you that it's OK to be you.
Disagreements will be the main events of that night.
But then the alcohol will be tasted upon our lips.
And the making up and making out sessions will be the remainder of the cloudy evening.
Lead me back to your apartment.
Please remind me that everyone only lives once.
Climb the stairs one at a time.
Careful not to fall, we're both not seeing straight.
Hand in hand,
Laughing at nothing and everything.
Finally reaching your door,
You take out your keys.
you give me the invitation to come in with a smile.
The darkness leads on with lust and love connected into one.
Part your lips and feel my finger tips.
We won't let one inch of our body's go untouched, it's too risky.
Exchanging body heat, heavy breathing...it all ends all too soon..Because we wake up..sober again..
