The Search Of Life

When you stopped caring I lost the will to live,
like every element of life slipped through my
fingers, Right in front of my eyes,
and no matter how far I reached out,
I could never quite grasp you or your love,
you stopped caring and broke my heart
now we live miles apart.

I've followed this road all my life in the search
of love, through thick and thin, over high waters
and stormy sea's, over mountains as far as the eye
could see, yet all I encountered never compared to
the love I found within you,

I sit here at night, laying on my bed wondering if
I'm destined to live a life alone,
with no one to touch or tell that I love,
I lost the most important person in my life and
now I face a fight with my conscience for the rest
of my days for letting go and for using you,
it was a mistake, now I gotta live with losing you.

I'll continue my search throughout this life,
in the hope I find love once more,
but one thing I pray, that I wish even more,
that their something like you, then I'll know what to do
for I'll have someone that reminds me of you,

A gift from god, an angel so true, I promise
when I find you, I'll love you forever, I'll never
let go, so I make you this promise, and this I vow,
I'll find you someway somehow.
