I look back at this year,
all the laughs,
and all the tears.
Memories that will always last.
New friends who came and past,
best friends who stayed
close to your heart.
I look back at this year,
and I start to see
That one thing was always the same.
One person was always there,
laughing with me,
lending a shoulder to cry on;
That person was you.
I look ahead to 2006,
and I wonder what this new year will bring.
Nothing's for sure,
it's another blank canvas
Open for anybody to paint
a new beginning
or continue the past.
But one thing's for sure.
Whether this new year brings smiles
