Somebody shake me,
pinch me,
slap me.
Just wake me up,
take me out of this nightmare,
get me out of this hell...
This place has changed,
there's something missing,
it's turned my entire world
upside down.
I don't know what to do,
Don't know where to turn.
Will somebody please
just get me out of this hell....
This is all a bad dream,
I swear I'll wake up again
and everything will be alright.
The sun will be shining,
no more tears, no more sadness
I close my eyes,
squeeze them shut so tight.
As I open them again,
I whisper a prayer
"Please, God, let everything be alright again."
I open my eyes
I'm still in this fast-paced nightmre.
Still seeing the ashen faces
and I think to myself,
"Why God, why him? Why now, he didn't deserve to go..."
As yet another tear starts
to fall from my eye.
Please, please, just somebody
get me out of this hell....
