When you put in all your hard work
Into something that means the world to you
Sometimes your work feels as if its not good enough
People dont see the conclusions
And people expect things to come to them
Even though thats not true
A lot of teenagers these days dont appreciate what they get
And consider their parents to their needs
Girls at school complain
Even though they get everything they want or close to everything
They dont set a good example for those younger people that really have nothing and arent ever aloud to complain
Since I was a little girl I have had to take care of myself
My mom has been into drugs and my dad has been an alcoholic
I have had to set good examples for my siblings even though I really didnt have much
I have always had to work to get what I wanted
Odd times my parents would help me
Not often
Today isnt about fashion
Or having everything you want
Life is trying to find your goal
And meeting people on the way
Judging people for their looks
And criticizing peoples clothes
Doesnt make our world a better place
People should love who they are
And be who they are
Everyone is different
But everyone should appreciate the benefits they get
So in Conclusion
Life shouldnt be about criticizing people
And bragging about everything your parents get for you
Some people dont have the benefits
And everybody should be accepted for who they are
And what they are able to afford
The outsides dont matter
Its the personality that counts.
