New addiction

by endswithgoodbye   Oct 27, 2006

It was the night she knew she had gone insane
The night she missed the light through the pouring rain
It started with a look in the mirror , her greatest error
For the image looking back made her numb with terror
She saw their pointy edge through the dark
And felt the instant , dangerous spark
This attraction far worse then she could bare
She took their taunting , evil dare
Maybe this would end the pain
Maybe this could bring her back again
She watched as her blood dripped down
It almost seemed to make time slowdown
She watched as the cut bled out her sorrows
The hurt far worse than a thousand pointed arrows
This was more then she could deal
With a feeling that just didn't seem real
It was the night she lost her last shred of hope
The night she found a new addiction to help her cope
