This speaks volumes to me... It raises the question to the reader - who are you saying goodbye to. And honestly, it doesn't matter as you've captured the goodbye to anyone, or anything at anytime... Wonderfully written.

Goodbyes are so sad to say,
often with a lump in your throat and a heavy heart.
All words just get in the way.
A last glance, maybe a hug and a final nod
