Unloved again
Broken and abused
Cheated on again
betrayed, he's amused

He told me he loved me
Stupid me; I believed
And now it's over
I should feel relieved

But instead I feel hurt
Pain and anguish

The carpet is wet
In a mix of crimson and crystal
My face and arms a mess again
From the ultimate betrayal

He mislead me to think he was different
And now I beg to differ
I didn't see it then but I do now
At the thought of my naivety makes me shiver

I should have listened to the rumours
But he misguided my trust
Fell head over heels for a player
In both love and lust
