Faceless

by manic moments   Oct 27, 2006

All around
Everywhere, everywhere they are
The faceless crowd, I can see
I see them, near and far

Faceless children running in joy
I hear nothing from the crowd
Faceless faces turned to wards the sun
A grinless face to make the angry proud

I see not a bit of emotion
On the faces of the people around me
Why am I here?
With the faceless crowd that I can see

The faces turned away
Even thought they cannot see, they still avoid
The faceless crowd of the people I've come to love
They're beautiful smiles... destroyed

I cannot move in the faceless crowd
They are the near and far
They are the walls of my home
They are everything, whatever they are

The faceless crowd of memories
Dreams that where reality
The faces of the past
That destroy my sanity

The faceless face of my mother
Telling me to be proper
The faceless face of my father
Telling me to be good and proper

The faceless faces of my friends
Holding me when I had to cry
The faceless faces of my drawings
Screaming at me through the lies

The faceless crowd on the street
Why am I here?
The faceless children I still see
The faceless faces that are no longer clear

The angry faceless faces
Chasing me down the streets
The murderous faceless faces
One's who cannot speak

The faceless faces in my dreams
The people I see no more
The faceless photos
Spread across the floor

The scissors in my hands
No more faces
No more screaming angry faces to look at
They are empty now, left without places
