Shadows of my broken past
these images will always last
my friends all rock
but they cannot see
what all of this has done to me
I can't escape
I can't break free
I've hidden deep
my humanity
my emotions are gone
except depression and hate
in hell i will stay
in my lonely state
I'm falling into sorrow
I'm drowning in my tears
I can't escape this darkness
I can't escape my fears
my friends are the best
that I could be given
yet over the edge
I'm being driven

    OMG! The rythym TOTALLY rocks, and i love the meaning and the emotions... one of the best poems i have read, and a tough form of poetic verse to use, but you have succeded finely. Great job!
