And it was then that she realized
That she was going to be okay
And it was then that she knew
She didn't have to say the things she didn't say
With all the tears and the screaming
She knew she was going to pull through
With all the heartache and goodbyes
She realized that she never really needed you

    I liked this poem. It was nice and fluid. It was also sudden, and I like that too; "And it was then that she realised..." etc.
