Ice as eyes

I never said so called "love" was easy,
I never said it wouldn't be hard.
I didn't say I was perfect,
or that I could let down my guard.

I have faults, I know,
but you are neither perfect.
Because my faults may show,
Don't I deserve your respect?

How can I trust you,
when you told so many lies?
How can I say your warm,
when you have ice as your eyes?

I'm sorry I didn't understand,
If you were doing bad.
But I have feelings too,
and your not the only one that's sad.

Don't feel sorry for yourself,
This "thing" goes both ways.
But right now, at my this point in my life,
I have other things to do with my days.

I admit I was wrong,
when I thought you were different than the rest.
But if you can't handle me at my lowest,
you don't deserve me at my best.

    Can i just say you used 'I' 15 times in the one poem i did like it but you perhaps could have made the vocab a bit mroe hard it was good though well done.

    Wow... this poem is really good. I love the rhyme scheme, it doesn't seem forced at all. Only one line didn't work well: But right now, at my thins point in my life, it might just be me but it doesn't make sense... Other than that great poem!

    I love everything about this poem hun! The flow was great, the story, emotion, and the word use were all so good! The last two lines in stanza three are written very well:

    How can I say your warm,
    when you have ice as your eyes?

    I also love the last two lines of the poem. They are my favorite:

    But if you can't handle me at my lowest,
    you don't deserve me at my best.
