Don't Start To Care

by Miss Hailey   Oct 27, 2006

Don't start to care,
You were never there,
When I needed you the most,
I was always nearby and you were so close,
Yet you've never noticed me,
All of me-what have you yet to see?
All the pain,
Someone here's to blame,
You took me into your arms,
Drove away all the harms,
But that was how we met,
Every moment of it I kept,
When we're together,
You think that nothing's a matter,
I needed your love more than I can say,
But from you there is a price to pay,
I gave every inch of my heart to you,
But to me-what do you do?
You took my heart,
And tore it a million miles apart,
I was always there,
And you never seemed to care,
People say this love ain't true,
There's nothing between me and you,
One of us had to go,
This relationship was moving so slow,
All I ever wanted from you,
Wasn't fortune, fame or anything new,
I just needed your love baby,
Just wanted to be your lady,
So I left,
Taking every memory I kept,
It's been awhile since I last saw you,
And yet you're still my boo,
It's good that you returned,
I understand it must have burned,
That heartache,
That kept you awake,
That longing,
That kept you from belonging,
But don't start to care,
All we've had was over dear,
You've always had that chance,
Way back from that last dance,
I was always ignored,
Our relationship-you felt so bored,
Don't start to care,
Your love don't belong here,
We were over a long time ago,
All those memories spent in the snow,
Those times in the pouring rain,
I'd rather go insane,
Then think of you,
It makes my world feel so blue,
I don't need your love anymore,
I'd rather take this sore,
Don't be acting all nice to me,
All your love I can not see,
Don't start to care,
We have no love to share,
Don't start to care,
You were never there,
Don't start to care,
Your love was never here.
