My Beautiful History

by PygmyPuff   Oct 28, 2006

In the gallery that is my evolution
There is what believes in me
Come out of a hope.

But I am a butterfly
A fatal indiscretion
A butterfly lost among the lions,
Pinned back and Tied up
I am an enigma for their science

My history is secretive
That which does not which to share
And that of a strange and rebellious animal
My history is beautiful

Who could not believe in Darwin's theories
I am in the game of pre-extinction They will dissect me without emotion

Deranged with delight,
only to rearrange,
And to forget the silence trapped behind windows

My history is beautiful
My history is the one
My history explains the truth
That of the process of extinction to a species
