Legacy

by LadyPearl   Oct 28, 2006

Like always, the life beneath me crawls
Like always, the moon refuse to call
Upon the river, where the dark began
Where souls are reaching for a plan

All ours lives portrayed as a living race
Running from our own haunting face
Not of this world, nor the world beyond
We pray in tears yet no one ever respond

Fear created within our own clouded mind
Taking over our bodies over time
But it is us who are named as fear
It is us who nightly change and disappear

Legacy of those lovers of the dark
Brought to life by the bleeding mark
United once again for a final evolution
Fighting for our last chance of resolution

Wow, very nice. You do beautiful work. I especially liked these lines:

All ours lives portrayed as a living race
Running from our own haunting face
Not of this world, nor the world beyond
We pray in tears yet no one ever respond

    Wonderful flow and cadence. 5/5
