So long ago we walked this path
I found the new and remember the old
I wipe away the tears again;
what weakness do they show!

I want one final dance before you go,
One last dance before the shadows
The silence follows the vertigo,
But I only want a dance.

I knew so soon I held no fault,
the harsh words brushed my skin
It's a pain that keeps itself alive
Reminding me there’s more than happiness.

But I know the ending of the these books
I know its already too late for us.
The world knows we weren’t ready,
You were gone before I took a step away.

I can die tomorrow and it wouldn't change a thing
I can send my heart to termination,
because without you I have nothing to love,
Only whisper "Thank-you" for making the pain leave
