Ghost Of My Past

by Sophie   Oct 28, 2006

Hear the cries of a tortured soul,
In a room ever-so haunting,
A young child is forever cursed.
Her memories are daunting.

Happiness never reached her heart.
Sunshine is non existent.
Shadows surround every corner.
The darkness is persistent.

Her long black hair covers her eyes.
A body without a soul.
Every movement is motionless.
Her presence isn't whole.

She long ago used to live.
Her distraught cries I hear,
I feel her tear drops falling,
Her ghost still lingers here..
