Pain

This lone heart it feels so weak
These cold tears stream down my cheek
One fake smile about to break
All I can feel is this heart ache

Close my eyes stop the tears, try to act tough
Maybe the pain will go away if I pray hard enough
Firmly pressed lips, holding back the words
Open a bit and they escape, like a flock of birds
My Sown up heart, is ready to be ripped again
My pretty make up, coats my ugly pain
My Shakings hands, they cant stay still,
Stomach all knotted, why do I feel so ill
Face so worn, lines of worry can be seen
My once beautiful eyes are no longer their sparkling green
