Letter to late

You told me to write you a letter
and i wonder if i did would it make this any better
filled with emotion i tried to express
words on a paper to describe exactly how i feel
i wonder if you knew that what i feel is real
so i folded the the two page letter and used a kiss as a seal
but this letter i will not give you this love i will not reveal
today you wrote me a a letter
describing exactly how you feel
only if she wasn\\\'t in the picture
your heart i would steal
but i waited to long to long to reveal
that i loved you way before the letter
and even though i wrote it it didn't make it better
