I see you standing there
And all I want to do
Is go and have you hold me in your arms

You call me on the phone
Every now and again
To talk and to see how everything is going

I feel so strange
When you call me
Because there are so many things I want to say
But I donâ??t how to tell you
That you mean the world to me

People see it in my eyes
When I am with you
That I canâ??t even tell they are there

But the one thing I know is true
Is that your holding my heart right on through

Even though I know that I canâ??t see you everyday
Or here voice on the phone
I know that I love you
Because youâ??re the one that never leaves my head
The one I am scared to the hurt the most
The one who I can never let go of

It could still be a thing of the past
You and me
But I donâ??t know what to do
When it comes to you and me

Youâ??re the one I dream about
Youâ??re the one I want to have holding me
When all I seem to know how to do is cry

Your there to make sure I make it through the hard times
Even when youâ??re not by my side
I donâ??t where I would be without you

But when I am with all these words that I write down
I canâ??t tell you
Because I am lost on what to say
Because knowing that what I say next
Could be the one thing to start something new
Or even end something great

I am so scared to harm you
So I keep to myself
And just rest in your arms
Even if it is for just one more day
