Funny How Love Works

Funny how love works...You try so hard and give your all to relationships with the people you love but all you get in return is disappointment and pain. You make some stupid decisions and do things you never thought YOU would do...all because of your love for that person. You listen, you laugh, you cry, you argue...but whatever happens, you know you and that person will always have a bond in some way for eternity. But sometimes in life confusion gets in the way, blurs our vision, and causes us to loose sight of what and WHO is most important. We may be thrown off course for minutes, hours, days, or even worse....years. Regardless, eventually something will click in our minds one day, making us realize our faults even if they were not intentional. For some of us that revelation may come too late and the reality of our situation will build a concrete barrier between us and that love that we have for that incredibly special person; that ONE person that will have a reserved place in our hearts and minds until the end of time. If only we could turn back the hands of time and play our cards differently. Maybe just maybe we could be living that "happily ever after" life in present tense instead of just our dreams. For some of us the tables will turn and our loves will understand our new-found realizations. They'll understand that we got thrown off track for a while but we were determined to make it back....and we finally have. The feelings between us will be mutual and all will not be lost. We'll simply pick up where we left off. But in His world, none of this is in our hands. We just have to have hope that love decides to work in our favor.....
