Traced autonomy

by Lenny   Oct 29, 2006

Trace, the stranger
Trickles down
Glass pane to disappear
In unclouded thought
Engulfed
And evaporates the night
Sweet loss
And embraced
By familiar hands
Cupped and set free
Tiny cage door opens
And melody ensues
The anthem of freedom
And release
The sweet child smiles
And in a suicide dive
Drops
To floor, to puddle
Unmitigated autonomy
Enlightened

And Death
The preference still

Trace, the stranger
Trickles down
And in candid thought

Arms spread
To death he runs.
