The War Took Him Away

by TRAGiC BEAUTY   Oct 29, 2006

Her father decided late last year
His only daughter's biggest fear
From his family he would be tore
He would go to fight in the war

He would fight hard for his country
Building up the name land of the free
She would wonder what would happen to him
What would happen to all of them

How many people will make it out in the end
How many people will see their families again
What will happen to her dear father
What will happen to daddy's daughter

Will she ever see daddy again
Will she only have the memories of then
She lived her life 3 years straight
No daddy, not knowing his fate

One day, a soldier came to her door
Her mom made her go away, she wanted to know more
Her mom collapsed right then and there
She was too upset to care

Her only daughter went down to her mother crying
She knew something happened with dying
She'll always remember what happened that day
That was that day, the war took her father away

    This is very, very depressing...
Did it actually happen to you?
If it did, i am so so sorry....
