In, Through, Pass, Under, Out

by Wings Of Flames   Oct 29, 2006

In the house of no tomorrow
In this house of dread,
This is where we take our sorrow,
Where we bathe in tears we shed,

Through the gates in a row,
Through these gates of end,
Past the metal cold,
In hope our God shall send,

Pass the demon in our thoughts,
Pass him through our lips,
Unleash him into the world,
As he spawns with new eclipse,

Under the shadow we live no more,
Under this shadow we no longer cry,
Screaming for your insanity,
In this life we tell no lie,

Out in the cold the wind shall blow,
Out through the cold it stings,
If only you all could know,
Why our darkness always sings.

I am not one for Dark poems, but you wrote this good. The words used and the way you used them was great. Good Job.

Once again you've used great wording. Have you ever tried to write a poem that isn't so dark and abstract? The first stanza was my favorite line by the way.

    P.S. I'll be back...hopefully, lol.
