Quadratic Equations

Ma'am said we have to solve
page 170 of our Algebra book
its all about quadratic equations
and I think I'm going crazy!
I see x squared, 12x plus 1
and how on earth is that
I asked the online Dr. Math
it seems he doesn't get it.
The equation standard to vertex form
whats the value of A B C?
and what about H and K?
and what is the graph?
That's the complete fault
of a careless listener
who never tried to think of it
just let go of what Ma'am said.

    You know, whaat has always amazed me is the stuff like this I never have to use in real life.I think the schools need to focus more on society skills or something.Some of the stuff they made me learn will neve, ever come up in any coverstion.A class on life and society and culture would be so more useful.
