Are you happy now?

by silent eyes   Oct 30, 2006

Are you happy now?
You broke me down, made me cry
Filled my head with all your lies

Are you happy now?
You made me feel like a failure
To my scarred heart, there is no cure

Are you happy now?
Your words, they cut down into my core
Your negative comments are so hard to ignore

Are you happy now?
There is no forgiving for what you said
In my eyes you might as well be dead

Are you happy now?

"Your negative comments are so hard to ignore"

I've always been the kind of person who dwells on the negative and on what people say that could be negative... Heh. Nicely done.

I feel this way about a lot of people at my school anymore. I love how much feeling you brought out of it. Keep up the work. You have a bright fututre ahead of you.

I like your poem, but I'm not sure about the repetition. Maybe you should just use "Are you happy now?" in the begginning and ending of your poem. I think it would give the line more strength.

    Good job!

    Keep writing.
