Your children take in just about everything they see,
So understand how misguided their little minds can be.
Just imagine if they turned out almost exactly like you,
Would you be proud or would you be ashamed of them too.
Think about it for a second; it's a reality you have to face,
Do you want your kids to succeed, or become a disgrace?
Hit a women and they may "just" hit one too;
It isn't moral or acceptable so explain why you do!
Smoke and drink piss and they'll likely follow,
You say you do it just to drown out your sorrows!
Do what ever you do and they may do the same,
It will either create or destroy; cultivating their name!
Think about what you do in front of your daughters and sons,
Because maybe one day they'll turn out like bums!
If you can't stop it, just try to help them know,
That the path you took isn't the way to go!
Care for your children; from the second they open their eyes,
Don't let them go down the wrong path or you may see them die...
