Crumble Down

by katie   Oct 30, 2006

Idle chatter ruins you,
because it speaks the truth.
People know your telling lies,
to hide behind the spoof.
Where are those sweet
walls you built?
Did they crumble down?
Are the rocks that built
your house, strewn upon the ground?
Your neighbors tell your secrets
The enemy, your lies.
Are you feeling safe right now?
Don't you want to die?
Where is that shield you keep? It protects you from the fire, fire that's caught a hold of your life,
burning it to cinders.
