Lean on me no more

by abby   Oct 30, 2006

I sit here in a blank stare
you were my best friend
now you don't even care
why did it have to come to an end

we did everything together
and now your gone
lean on me
remember that song

we sang that non stop
through out our childhood
i thought you'd always be there
but my thoughts were no good

walking down the road as kids
i thought we'd never be apart
now that your gone
you've broken my now sorrow filled heart

Awww that's such a sad poem! *wipes away tear* but the worst part is that I can majorly relate to it. I lost the best friend I'd ever had last year... It sucked majorly. I missed her with all my heart, and I had many sleepless nights where all I would do was cry myself to sleep. I thought that life couldn't get any worse; the police were involved, her mother despised my guts, I was closing in on a harsh suspention, and my grades sank to th ebottm of the ocean. I wasn't one to cry easily, but the rejection and shun I faced each day was more than enough to do the trick. Not to depress anyone though! The story eds semi-happily; we're friends once again, even though our parents don't know it!

That's beside the point however. Excellent write, and Iwish to see more of your talent in th near future.
