Funeral of Hearts

by myshiningstar14   Oct 30, 2006

Our hearts die for you
a little more,
with each new day,
with every moment
that goes by.

With our hearts open,
our tears flowing.
We can all go away
knowing,
the love you carried,
and in our hearts
we've burried you.

Oh Aunt Cherie how
I'll miss you.

A mother, a wife,
an aunt, a friend.
So many roles,
so many things
left untold.

Sitting here,
shedding my tears
I fear there's one
thing I never got
to say.

I love you.

So the days will
go on,
I will never forget
all you've meant to
me.
And everyday for all
you've done,
your smile,
your laughter,
your presence,

the stories,
the hugs.
the memories, will
never fade.
But most of all a
a funeral of hearts,
will bear it's pain,
in your name.

**to my aunt Cherie who died October 29th, 2006.
