Brass Bullet, Autumn Winds

Brass Bullet, Autumn Winds
[This is How I Love You]

fingers entwined
we walk softly together
content to laugh, content to cry
at ease, as one.
autumn sunlight reflects
off his precious amber eyes
like emeralds glistening in the sky
like fire glinting in a shadowed place
his hair blows past his shoulders
he walks calmly, without hesitance
with concealed confidence
with silent pride
and my hearts fills
with soulful glory
every time...
a smile touches his lips.
His clothes flow breezily in the wind
like the leaves swirling around our feet
a brass bullet shell hangs upon his neck
like the secret protected beneath his crest
safe and stable, discretely magnificent
as the October wind fills his lungs
I watch as his chest rises and falls
and this peacefulness surrounds me
For I do not love him like a flower
a flowers which will bloom then wither
For this is everlasting-
He stands majestically, and I love him
without impurities, without imperfections
Because to me he is perfect
And this is how I see him.
And this is how I love him.
