Wish Tonight.

Sun light,
Sun bright,
Only sun in the sky tonight,
I was I may, I wish I might,
Have this single wish tonight,
My wish I say, my wish you hear,
Is not to hold this wish so dear,
To have no reason yet today,
To wish for everything to be ok,
O shed on my your warming glow,
So then at least right now I know,
That I am safe and it'll be alright,
While you share with me your healing light,
So I can close my eyes each night and see,
A small ray of light staring back at me,
The sugar bowls empty and the flowers are dead,
But that doesn't change the happiness that could be up in my head,
And all it takes is one ray of light,
To prove to me that It'll be alright,
So let your kindness sweep over me,
I'm all locked up and your the key,
Oh, Sun light,
Sun bright,
Only sun in the sky tonight,
I wish I may, I wish I might,
Have this single wish tonight.

    I think that poem is really unique. Inspiration has to come from somewhere, even from another rhyme like that. I think you did a great job of writing this. A good story written behind it all. Keep it up. =]
