Life With an Angel

Every morning, you woke up in my arms.
I looked into your eyes and smiled to myself.
I had the world in my grasp. Nothing could go wrong.
You would open your eyes and smile up at me.
I kissed your lips, thinking this just couldn't be.
Id brush away your hair, and think to myself.
How could this be, you're absolutely perfect for me.
Id hold you for a while and think of nothing else,
But you and me together, and the future we could have.
We were living in a dream, and i hoped it would last.
I had never been happier and id forgotten my past.
We'd get out of bed and go on with our day.
It was all the little things that made life so great!
Your BBQ chick or those great bowls of ice cream.
Playing Mario or just watching a movie.
Running out of gas on a dark, lonely road.
The smell of your hair after a long, hot shower.
The sweetness of your kiss right before work.
I don't think heaven could be this amazing!
And i wouldn't want to be there without you!
I loved everything about life by your side.
And i would give up the world to have that once again.
I love you with all that i am, and that will never end.
