Deaths kiss

Surrounded by "friends"
Yet lost and alone
They only see
What she has shone

To them she is blissful
Nothing could go wrong
To them she is talented
She could sing most any song

But to him she's a mistake
Never was she to be
The unexpected present
He never wanted to see

For this he hates her
His mouths bitter taste
To him she means nothing
But utter waste

Everyday she comes home
And walks through his front door
She has done nothing
Yet she still hit the floor

His hand is her fear
All throughout her day
She dreads going home
To his torturing ways

Her mother doesn't take notice
To the marks on her back
To her daughter it seems
Love is what her mother lacks

One day she went home early
And found her new best friend
The blade that lets her escape
The word happiness she has bend

She now takes her friend everywhere
From home to school and back
It never leaves her side
Even when she is smacked

No one has seen
The pain she hold dear
For her long sleeves they cover
The blood she has smeared

One drunken day
Her father wanders in
Finding his daughter
Laughing again

He walks towards her
And her laughter it rests
As he lungs to hit her
Right in the chest

She saw it coming
And ducked under his arm
Then she took off running
Down the driveway of there farm

She runs into the forest
Where no one can see
She pulls out her blade
With utter glee

In the stump to her right
She carves in his name
Underneath that she wirtes
"He should be shamed

For he has hurt
For so many a year
That everyday I came home
It was him I feared

This is his fault
And he knows it well
For he spilled with laughter
Every time I fell

So this was my curse
My love and my pain
He made me feel
So I made it rain"

With that said
She brought back her blade
She sat and she cried
In the cold shade

All she wanted was to be loved
To be cared for and missed
So in her wrists she carved
And death she kissed
