Everlasting Past

by Sharlene   Nov 1, 2006

The days turn cloudy and so do you it rain than you rain too
You wish you could turn back the time but what then now is threw
You tell yourself it never happened but your heart know itâ??s a lie
You close your eyes and shake your head but some things you canâ??t deny
Your past it nibbles at your soul and slowly you break down
Turning that smile that shined so bright into an upside frown
The days turn cloudy and so do you even that necklace you wear wonâ??t shine
All the things that hurt you most are bunched up in your mind
Thing you did now hurt you you didnâ??t think the pain would last
So now your days are thunderstorms dragging along your past
