The Black Road

Walking down this road
There's so much I regret
But I can't change it now
Nor can I ever forget

I was miserable for a while
For all my life it seemed
I felt the moment I was born
A great curse was deemed

Last night I made a choice
The choice was mine to make
I made this choice because
I couldn't stand the ache

Too many things wrong
And confusion in my mind
So I took the easy way out
And left that world behind

Every single day, I thought
Of a different way to die
Thought about the funeral
And how on one would cry

I remember always thinking
About people like Kurt Cobain
All those suicidal maniacs
I felt I understood their pain

So I took some pills last night
Just before I went to bed
So I could walk The Black Road
And live amongst the dead

    BTW a certain yellow mouse attached to a pieve of string was in my bed today courtesy of a cat named Pewter, She had brought it up from the computer chair where it was when i came in, not sure if its for you or me but if it was for you, remember to thank her next time you see her. lol

    K, if u ever try and kill yourself, you'd betterhope it worls cos if it dn't and u survive - I'd kill you! lol
    NEway now dats out the way. I didn't like the theme cos I'm biased but I loved the poem- and I notice the gr8 Kurt Cobain, got a mention!!
    I tried to pick a favourite stanza but I couldn't cos I think the whole poems brilliant, Perfect structure, rhythm, rhyme -flawless.

    (BDW, waa if what you want are lies cos u thought my one was bout us and did it have a connection 2 dat or wos it jus written from that because it inspired you to write the other side of the story??)
