Lost you.

by in spite of love   Nov 2, 2006

Sweet sympathetic honesty,
words of most beautiful rhyme.
You told me you loved me, and you'd understand ... You'd understand if I needed some time.

Days went by, and turned into months, and months into wonderful years... Until the day you were taken from me.
I was left all alone with my fears.

Only you'd understand how I miss you... You were the one I learned to trust the most,
Now that you're gone I'm a lost soul... All alone with no sight of hope.

You told me minuets before you were gone, you said "Its not the end, please, learn to hang on."

I promised you I'd do my best...
As you passed into a forever rest.
