Somewhere high in the skies, Are loving, and watchful eyes. Eyes that loved me, Eyes that left me. I did not see his crying, I did not sense his dying. He did not tell me he was ill, He just smiled, and remained still. My soul I'd give to have him back, My heart is broken, for him I lack. I cannot stand his heavenly gaze, I do not deserve his heavenly praise. I'm glad I had him for some years, As shown through my endless tears. I always look up so I will know, He is in heaven, gazing just below.
